What the app is
IPTV M Pro is a media player. It does not provide any channels, films, series, playlists or subscriptions. You add a playlist (an M3U link or an Xtream Codes account) from a provider you choose, and the app plays it.
Data stored on your device
- The playlists you add: their name, server address, username and password, and the catalogue the server returns. On Apple TV the password is kept in the device Keychain.
- Your watch progress, My List, favourite channels, recently watched channels and your settings (including a parental PIN, stored only as a one-way hash).
- If you connect OneDrive (Apple TV): the sign-in token in the device Keychain, the folders you chose, an encrypted list of their albums, your OneDrive watch progress and an optional OneDrive PIN, stored only as a one-way hash.
This information never leaves your device except as described below. We do not have servers that receive it, and we cannot see it.
Network connections
The app connects to the playlist and stream addresses you enter, so it can load your catalogue, artwork and videos. Those providers receive the requests your device sends them (for example your IP address and the account details you entered) under their own terms and privacy policies.
To show posters, backdrops, cast and trailers, the app looks up film and series titles (their name, year or TMDB id) on The Movie Database (TMDB), directly or through our website. These lookups contain no account details and no personal data, and nothing is stored about you.
The app has no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting services.
OneDrive (optional)
On Apple TV you can connect your own Microsoft OneDrive to watch your photos and videos. You sign in on Microsoft's own page on your phone; the app never sees your Microsoft password.
- The app asks only for permission to read your files and your name (Files.Read, User.Read). It never changes, uploads or deletes anything on your OneDrive.
- Your photos and videos go straight from Microsoft to your Apple TV. They are not sent to us or to anyone else, and they are never looked up on TMDB or any other service.
- Nothing from OneDrive appears on Home, in search, in recommendations or in Continue Watching outside the OneDrive tab. You can lock the tab with its own PIN and hide it.
- Disconnect it any time in Settings → OneDrive; this deletes the sign-in token and everything the app saved about your OneDrive. You can also remove the app's access from your Microsoft account at account.live.com/consent/Manage.
Deleting your data
Remove a playlist in Settings → Account → Manage playlists, disconnect OneDrive in Settings → OneDrive, or use Settings → History & data to clear history, My List and cached information. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
Children
The app has no accounts and collects no data from anyone, including children. Content depends entirely on the playlist added; a parental PIN can lock folders.
